What Leaders Need

Vision…clarity on where we are going so people want to follow.

Focus…to minimize distractions and create a sense of purpose.

Empathy…to see people where they are and build strong connections.

Definition of what success looks like…to create accountability and to know when to celebrate.

And, if we are going to ask people to do hard things, we need to inspire them.

This is my photo of the Joan of Arc sculpture in Paris. She is a favorite hero of mine and this image of her confidently riding into battle always lifts my spirits.
